The Washington Fire Company is well served by an active Ladies Auxiliary.  The Martha Washington Auxiliary was organized and chartered in 1942.  The first elected officers were as follows: Freida Donath, President; Violet Pulfrich, Vice President; Evelyn Miller, Recording Secretary; Anna Houseman, Financial Secretary; Elizabeth Natschke, Treasurer,

Throughout the years, this fine group of ladies has been active not only in their constant fundraising efforts, but also at  fire scenes, providing hot food, refreshments and moral support irregardless of weather conditions or convenience.
